My parents told me I skated before I walked. When I was eighteen I was drafted into the N.H.L third overall, playing in Los Angeles—the city of dreams. What more could I ask for? I played hard, but eventually, I partied even harder. Five years later I was traded a week after I entered rehab. There was no time for anything except my health and making sure I’d come out on top. I had to be better. There wasn’t another option.
When you grow up surrounded by hockey players you know one thing for sure, I was never going to settle down with one. Heck, I didn’t even know what icing was. I was too busy climbing the corporate ladder, becoming one of the most successful realtors in New York City. I wasn’t interested in dating or anything that got in my way.

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
I love Natasha Madison. I love her stories. I’ve fallen in love with this series and this family for sure. I just kind of picked up this series with Zara and Evan, but had to know more. I had to go back and find out what makes these people tick. Boy was it more than I was bargaining for.
Zoe much like her sister has a strick no hockey player rule. With a family of them, the last thing she wants is to fall in love with one. I love that Zoe is successful, smart, and funny. I love that she tries with everything she has not to fall for this man, that clearly has her heart. I love when she finally allows herself to love him. She finds out he’s so much more than she thought. Viktor was on top, but now, he has to learn to start over. He’s doing that in a new city, with a new team, and new people. I love how strong he is. I love how he’s fighting for him. I love that he doesn’t want to love Zoe, but it’s the one thing in his life that’s easy. Plus he has a good thing going in New York, the last thing he wants is to mess it up. But you can’t deny what your heart really wants. And these two want each other.
I loved watching Zoe and Viktor fall. I loved watching them become what the other needed. Most of all I loved the honesty of this story. Please check it out.
