Hard to Score by K. Bromberg

Hard to Score by K. Bromberg is now live!

I’ve signed numerous players to my family’s agency–I assumed winning over my next client would be just as easy.

The last thing I expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and broke my heart: only now Drew Bowman is all grown up.

Sexy. Scandal-tainted. Second-string. The crush I never got over.

I tell myself work is the reason I can’t get him out of my head. I tell him his talent far outweighs his position, and I know I can help. I lie and lie, because admitting that I want a second chance at my first love is impossible.

Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago.

***

I’m supposed to hate her.

I’ve been told so time and again for ten years – her father ruined our family, smeared my name before my career even began.

But that’s not what I’m feeling now.

Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my field.

Driven. Determined. Grown up. The Capulet to my Montague.

Being with her would be an unforgivable sin against my father, but I can’t resist the pull between us. Even if it means hiding what we have. Even if it means confronting the secrets I’ve always feared were lies.

Meet Kristy

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love.

A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions.

Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.

With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. 5 STAR Review

Let’s talk about this amazing series K. Bromberg has given us. I love the different sides of each of these books. Brexton and Drew were everything. I loved every aspect of these two. Brexton is smart, sexy, driven, compassionate, and hard-working. She is devoted to those she represents as well as her family. Like all women, Brexton wants to find her happily ever after. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s had a thing for Drew for as long as she can remember. But something happened in the past that destroyed the bond these two had.

Drew is angry with how things went down with his father and Brexton’s. He harbors so major resentment that is not fair when directed at Brexton. Drew needs to learn to let things go and move on from the past. Because he’s in his own way when it comes to the girl he loves.

I loved everything in this book. I loved when they let their guard down and gave in to the feelings they had for each other. I love this family as well. Brexton has an amazing bond with them all. I can’t wait for the next amazing book in this series.

Release & Review Blitz: The Setup by Rachel Van Dyken

TSU - RB banner.jpg

The Setup, an all new contemporary romance by #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken, is LIVE!

Copy of TheSetUp_ebook_HighRes.jpg

The first day she was sitting by herself — I felt sorry for her. After all, it couldn’t be easy wrangling all the testosterone at Wingman Inc as one of the only female office managers.

The second day she literally counted her carrots during break — she had seven by the way, right along with seven sips of her drink in between taking seven tiny little bites of the first carrot.

Now I’m not one to brag, or maybe I am, but math and science fascinate me, so do problems. And this woman screamed puzzle from the way she ducked her head every time anyone looked at her, to the way she counted food and tapped the table when she didn’t think anyone was watching.

I’d like to think I took pity on her that day when, in fact, she was the one that took pity on me and asked if I needed a friend. She assumed I had a learning disability since I’d been staring so damn hard.

Things would have ended there, except, my bosses need someone to test the new Wingman App and since I was the only single guy on the floor — I was nominated, right along with the only single woman, the same one who thinks I need to use my fingers to count.

Apparently rumors of my sexcapades throughout college reached even her ears, because she wants nothing to do with me, which makes beta testing a bitch. I have thirty days to win her over and prove myself to my bosses.

One thing’s for certain, I’m going to have to buy a hell of a lot of carrots.

5 STAR Review

I hate to say it…but I think RVD saved the best for last. I loved every minute of Finn and Jillian’s story. I loved falling in love with them. I loved watching them fall in love. I loved getting to see everything from start to finish.

Finn is everything you could want in a man. He’s smart, wealthy, and sexy. He has it all, at least appearance wise. Finn has a huge secret, one that will leave you wondering how is the heck a man like him can keep it to himself.

Jillian wants to do right. She wants to follow the rules. She wants to get the promotion she’s worked so hard for, but there might be something standing in her way…or someone.

Jillian and Finn have the most amazing chemistry. I loved seeing them together.

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to wrap this series up. I hope we get more from them in the future.

HUNKY HEARTBREAKER by Kendall Ryan – REVIEW & EXCERPT

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a new story in her Whiskey Kisses series…

Everything’s bigger in Texas.

And that includes Duke Wilder’s sexual appetite.

Together with his twin brother, he runs a whiskey distillery, and when their business takes off—suddenly he’s got it all. Success. Money. Family. But he doesn’t have a woman to share it with.

When Valentina storms into his life, her presence is only supposed to be temporary. She’s a feisty attorney hired to help clean up his company’s recent legal mess. He never counted on her being the one to turn his whole world upside down.

After spending most of his life living in the shadow of his brother, Duke has something to prove, and he’s not about to let this distraction get in the way of his plans, no matter how hot things get.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

“Good morning, darlin’. Could I interest you in some breakfast sausage?” The woman turned, her long, dark curls swinging around her shoulders. A look of disgust quickly washed over her face as her eyes locked on my bulge. “Ay dios mio, you’ve got to be f#cking kidding me,” she muttered, immediately taking her briefcase from the counter and marching to the front door, her red-bottomed heels clacking loudly on the hardwood. “What’s the matter?” I asked, stumbling after her. “Last time I do a favor for a friend,” she said under her breath, slamming the front door shut behind her. Favor. Friend. Beautiful woman in a pencil skirt. Charlotte’s hotshot lawyer friend from Los Angeles. Oh f#ck. “Hey, uh, Valencia, wait up!” I burst through the door to find her paused on the top step of the porch. She turned sharply to look me dead on, the fire in her eyes enough to burn me straight through. “It’s Valentina,” she spat, crossing her arms and cocking her hip to the side. “Valentina, right. My mistake. Listen, I’m really sorry about all this. We were out late last night for—” “For the opening, I know. I was supposed to be there, but something came up at work. So instead, I got my ass onto a last-minute redeye to make it in time for our meeting this morning, but clearly you had other things in mind,” she said, her eyes flitting to my quickly-softening cock before turning again to leave. “No, please, don’t go. This is completely unprofessional, I know—” “That’s the understatement of the century.” “But I promise, if you give me a chance, we can turn this meeting around.” “Is it still a meeting when one person shows up with his dick out?” “Oh, trust me, sweetheart, if my dick was out, you’d know it.” “Sure, as long as I brought a magnifying glass with me.” I paused, standing up a little straighter. She squared her shoulders, and our eyes locked, the tension between us thick enough to cut with a knife. If we were going to make this work, I knew I had to be the one to budge. But dammit if this woman didn’t make me want to blow my lid. “Look, I’m sorry. Please stay. If not for me, then for Luke and Charlotte.” Valentina sighed and put a hand on her hip. “Fine. Put some goddamn pants on first, and then we’ll talk.”       A New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of more than two dozen titles, Kendall Ryan has sold over 1.5 million books and her books have been translated into several languages in countries around the world. She's a traditionally published author with Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins UK, as well as an independently published author. Since she first began self-publishing in 2012, she's appeared at #1 on Barnes & Noble and iBooks charts around the world. 5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review

I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this story. I’ve come to fall in love with the Wilder family. Now we get to see Duke in action. I think my ovaries exploded while reading this book. It’s a quick little story, but it packs a punch. Duke was sweet, cocky, full of himself, but loving. I loved getting to watch Duke fall in the best of ways.

Valentina was great. I loved her sass, her wit, and her heart. I could see her walls crumbling even when she didn’t want them too. This story was just want I needed, but didn’t know I wanted. I loved these two and I hope and pray we get more from them in the future.

Please check out this awesome story. As with all of Kendall Ryan’s books, this one was steamy, sexy, and had just enough sweetness. I loved it from start to finish. I loved getting to see some old characters as well. Please check out Hunky Heartbreaker.
